Dog Finally Wags His Tail After More Than Two Months With His Foster Father

Dog Finally Wags His Tail After More Than Two Months With His Foster Father

ICEMAN February 24, 2020

A couple of rescuers found a dog in terrible condition. This dog had a leash tightly tied on his body. It was heartbreaking to see a sweet dog in a dire situation. This dog’s name was Homer.

The rescuers took their time with Homer and were very patient with him. Homer would lie on the ground and sometimes would hide under vehicles.

This behavior was understandable. Since Homer is a feral dog, the rescuers want to make sure that he’s comfortable. Rocky wants Homer to warm up to him even a little bit because he is very interested in fostering Homer.

Rocky sat on the ground with Homer, just keeping him company. Rocky wanted to take his time until Homer trusts him a little bit. It took about an hour before Homer allowed Rocky to pet him.

This confirms that it was okay for Rocky to foster him. Rocky brought Homer home. At first, he was terrified.

One can see him trembling in fear. This poor dog was utterly terrified. He was in an unfamiliar environment with a stranger. Who wouldn’t be scared?

Day by day, Rocky kept trying to build rapport with Homer. There was progress but not that much.

Rocky was not going to stop, though. He wanted to make sure that homer would be comfortable enough with him so that he could be up for adoption. Rocky needs to find Homer his forever home.

Until one day, it finally happened. A Breakthrough that Rocky was hoping for happened on that magical morning. Homer was finally wagging his tail.

It was very challenging, and it took a while. It took two and a half months before Homer wagged his tail. Rocky could not be happier at that moment.

Homer has finally overcome is fear. He is now ready for his forever home.

I consider myself an expert about dogs. I have been a dog owner since I was 8 years old. I love all kinds of dogs, and I try to learn more about the different varieties of dogs as well. Due to some medical complications, I cannot work and I currently live on Disability at the age of 57. I continually try to help my elderly parents stay at home, so that they will not contract this deadly virus. This site will considerably help my family cope with the additional costs associated with not being able to work and the effects of the Coronavirus Pandemic. I pretty am at home everyday working online, except for when I need supplies and groceries. I hope to be able to make this website generate the lost income that I have not been able to earn since 2011. I live in Joplin, MO with my family.
