Dogs and their unquenchable thirst for adventure often lead to exciting moments and the occasional misadventures.
This dog named Bella got lost after she ran away from her dog sitter. Bella and her owner live in Manhattan and imagine how far this puppy walked when she was found in Queens.
That’s about 15 miles away from where she was supposed to be, and it said a lot about dogs and their penchant for adventure.
The puppy ran away on Sunday, and it wasn’t until three days later that she was found. We could only imagine how this poor dog felt while walking all alone.
Sleeping alone at night in strange places must have been frightening, and we could only thank the stars for people who were kind to her.
We will never know where Bella ate and drank, nor will we ever meet the kind strangers who helped her out.
Reunited
Whoever you are, bless you for your actions, and may the heavens reward you for your good deeds. Without your help, we doubt this puppy would survive that particular trial in her life.
The puppy was reunited with her dad and she was so overjoyed that she couldn’t stop jumping, kissing, and hugging him.
We could tell that they missed each other so much and that three days felt like a lifetime. This dog’s dad must have been so worried, especially because he was away on a trip to Florida.
Something tells us this dog would think twice about running away again in the future.
Sometimes it’s good for puppies to experience getting lost so that they know that they shouldn’t venture too far away.
We’re glad you’re back, Bella, and we hope that you never get separated from your dad ever again. Try not to run away again, okay?
