Dogs are not only man’s best buddy, but they can also be another dog’s soulmate.
Two shelter pups from Georgia have different personalities, but they can’t be separated by anything. Opposites attract, indeed!
Not only are their personalities fitting for each other, but also their names! Mister and Misses have been annoying each other for six years already. Mister likes going outside to play fetch, while Misses is mostly at home, enjoying her belly rubs.
Sadly, the two pups were surrendered at a shelter because their previous owner lost their home. The duo is now enjoying their stay at the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in Atlanta.
According to a shelter volunteer, Misses is the bossier and sassier pup between the two. She always gets in the way of Mister, even during feeding time. Mister, on the other hand, steps aside and lets her finish the entire bowl, so they usually have to be separated during mealtime.
The volunteers decided to throw a “wedding” ceremony and honeymoon for the dogs. They also prepared a bachelor’s party for Mister and a bridal shower for Misses.
The shelter’s Facebook page was filled with photos of the dogs celebrating their mini party. Mister was seen rocking his best poses at the Chattahoochee River while enjoying his treats as a proper bachelor would.
Misses, on the other hand, was busy trying on some cute dresses and even got pampered before their wedding day. The Best Friends shelter posted a picture of her walking down the aisle, ready to marry her beloved Mister.
The newly wedded pups were also seen sharing a spoonful of peanut butter to celebrate their union. The whole party was organized by Sally Skinner, who was also the host and the officiating minister.
Mister and Misses won’t be having puppies since they are both spayed and neutered. They only need a place they can call home, where they can celebrate more years of togetherness. If you want to see more doggy weddings, click on the video below and watch these two other pitties get married!
