There’s no denying that office work can become really monotonous. That’s why some offices welcome a pleasant distraction once in a while. In the case of one TV network post-production office, a tradition has emerged to break the monotony. This office likes to bring in dogs and make them do fun tricks and challenges for entertainment.
The recent dog who underwent the challenges is a Pomeranian named Langee. It wasn’t her first time in the office. The people who saw her in a previous video liked her, so she was brought back for another round. This time around, her owner hoped that her performance would be better than the last time.
The first challenge involved a slab of cheese. This slab was placed on Langee’s head while she was inside an elevator. She had to make sure that the cheese did not fall off until the elevator arrived on the 22nd floor.
Everything went well for the first 15 floors. Langee didn’t move an inch, and the cheese never left the top of her head. However, on the 15th floor, the elevator opened, and a few people went inside. This distracted Langee which caused the cheese to fall off.
The second challenge involved a large cute mascot. Langee’s owner had to wear it and wait until the dog recognized her. Once Langee knows it’s her, she must give three commands. If Langee follows those commands, then the challenge is complete.
Unfortunately, Langee failed to recognize her owner under the giant costume. Her owner ever approached her and tried issuing commands, but she just moved away. It was only when the owner removed the costume that she realized what was going on.
It was unfortunate that Langee never completed any of the challenges. However, the more important goal for that day was fulfilled. She provided entertainment and stress relief for everyone working in the office. That in itself was a huge success.
